Press conference 23 February 2016

On February 23, 2016 at 14:15 in the Informational Agency "Ukrinform" press conference regarding the National Pavilion of Ukraine at the BioFach 2016 took place.

Spring boom in the organic sector: Europe buys our hemp, organic parade of regional forums and protections against fraud.

Interest in the Ukrainian organic products in Europe rolls: Ukrainian farmers have signed lucrative contracts at the world's largest organic products Biofach (Nuremberg, Germany) and PE "Granit-Agro" even managed to sell all future crops of organic hemp. "Very high interest in our organic non-narcotic hemp - rejoices Oleg Maksak from "Granit-Agro" - and this interest will continue to grow".Ukrainian consumers demand from the government and manufacturers truthful information and not believe in the real organics in Ukraine. Meanwhile "organic decentralization" moved through all regions of Ukraine: Ukrainian initiative partial convene regional forums, create new farms, conducting courses and trainings from experts. In big cities, there are organic restaurants and shops, popular retailers boast the presence of organic products on the shelves; however, we owe largely to foreign programs and daredevils from other countries for the organic market development in Ukraine.

On the eve of spring agricultural issues are always relevant. What does this spring brings to us ? In particular, it concerns the organic products, in which Ukrainians are increasingly interested. How does the state protect the rights of consumers and support the organic sector, how the organic market participants defend their truth. All of this will be discussed at a press conference, participation in which invited:
