Location: Skvyra Research Station of Organic Production of the Institute of Agroecology and Environmental Management of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (NAAS), Skvyra town, Kyiv region, Ukraine.

Academician-secretary, NAAS academician Anatoliy Zaryshniak, director of the Institute of Agroecology and Environmental Management, NAAS academician Orest Furdychko, director of Skvyra Research Station Yurii Ternovyi, and sector facilitator arable crops of the Swiss-Ukrainian Project "Organic Market Development in Ukraine" Anatoliy Kravchenko delivered opening speeches.

Sector expert arable crops Toralf Richter (FiBL, Switzerland) informed the participants on the beginning of the implementation of a new international project "Organic Soy Project in Eastern Europe". It will support producers of quality organic soy and its exports to Swiss Confederation. Besides, the expert reported on the Business Development Fund of the Project "Organic Market Development in Ukraine", within the framework of which Ukrainian producers have an opportunity to receive support for their innovative ideas concerning development of the national organic products market.

Speeches of German organic farmer and advisor Ludwig Asam, director of VIP GROUP Private Company Oleksii Kachkovskyi and research associate of Skvyra Research Station Hryhorii Melnyk were dedicated to different aspects of a coulter harrow with tines (Striegel) application.

Besides, the participants got acquainted with operation of the Striegel in the field. Its work was demonstrated related to wheat, spring barley, soy and corn cultivation. The participants used their opportunity to discuss the harrow application with experts having relevant practical experience.

Head of the Department of agroecology and biosafety of the Institute of Agroecology and Environmental Management Yaroslav Chabaniuk reported on usage of biological products in organic production.
