On June 4-7, 2014, a specialized exhibition and fair of organic products and technologies ORGANIC-2014 took place

It was held for the second time within the framework of AGRO-2014International exhibition.

The event was organized by Organic Federation of Ukraine and Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine with support from Swiss Confederation.

Co-organizers: Swiss-Ukrainian project "Organic Market Development in Ukraine" (FiBL, Switzerland) and USAID Agroinvest Project.

More than 20 organic producers from Kyiv, Transcarpathian, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Poltava, Volyn, Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk and Donetsk regions took part in the exhibition.
The event was attended by more than 5, 000 visitors.

At the stall of Organic Milk Company (Zhytomyr region) visitors had an opportunity to taste a wide range of Ukrainian certified dairy products such as milk, sour cream, butter, kefir, fermented baked milk, cheese, etc. Galeks-Agro PC presented its organic grains and legumes.
At the stall of Ugocsanszkij Smak Ltd (Transcarpathian region) one could taste and buy organic sausages, pastes, leaf lard, and other meat products. Furthermore, a legendary Hungarian huliash was prepared in a cauldron, and its aroma could be smelled from a hundred meters! Those products are produced in Transcarpathian region under the “Pan Eko” trademark from organic meat of Mangalytsia breed swine, bulls and calves of grey Hungarian meat breed and sheep of Romanian meat breed, kept at free range.
Certified organic groats, flour and flakes of Firma Diamant Ltd (Poltava region) were presented at the exhibition for the first time.
Besides, Poltava region was represented by Agroekologiia PC headed by Semen Antonets. At the company’s stall, one could buy certified organic groats and flour at prices of producer.
Representatives of Tuzes Pal Farm presented their organic products under the "Pan Eko" trademark as well. Their products included more than 10 titles of fruit paste, different berry syrups, Transcarpathian marinated mushrooms, different traditional drinks, and a wide selection of juices.
Staryi Porytsk Ltd (Volyn) actively participated in ORGANIC-2014, offering buckwheat groat, flour and fresh milk.
Bee-keepers’ family Dusyn presented their certified organic honey made of field grasses, acacia, linden, buckwheat and other plants.
Furthermore, Organic Coffee Shop (Kyiv city) attracted real coffee connoisseurs with its aromatic freshly prepared coffee and cocoa.
Shubrat O.V. IFH (Kyiv region), Chistiy Product-S (Donetsk region) and Trehubov O.A. PE (Kyiv region) presented different organic berries.
Hals Ltd (Chernivtsi region) offered organic birch juice and some drinks based on this product.
The other participants of the exhibition were Khlibio Ltd (Odesa region), Polissia-Invest Ltd (Zhytomyr region), Kostiva Farming Enterprise (Lviv region), Imex Trade Ltd (Kyiv region) and Lvivskyi Oblasnyi Vyrobnychyi Rybnyi Kombinat JSC.

Moreover, ten producers under the "Taste of Ukrainian Carpathians" Trademark successfully presented their products within the framework of the exhibition.

Specialized exhibition and fair "ORGANIC-2014" was highly appreciated by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Ihor Shvayka, Head of the State Inspection of Agriculture of Ukraine Mykola Poyedynok, Vice-President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine Yaroslav Hadzalo, Head of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration Sydir Kizin and many other visitors of the exhibition.

On June 5, a round table "Food Security and Safety – Organic Vector" was held within the framework of the exhibition. More than 100 participants took part in the event.
